UNESCO 생물권보전지역(2002)

대상지역 한라산국립공원 천연기념물(천연보호구역)로 지정된 영천, 효돈천, 문섬, 범섬, 섶섬

 

UNESCO 세계자연유산(2007)

대상지역 한라산 천연보호구역, 성산일출봉, 거문오름용암동굴계(거문오름, 벵뒤굴, 만장굴, 김녕사굴, 당처물동굴, 용천동굴등)

 

UNESCO 세계지질공원(2010)

대상지역 제주도 전체, 한라산, 만장굴, 성산일출봉, 서귀포패류화석층, 천지연폭포, 중문대포주상절리대, 산방산, 용머리해안, 수월봉, 우도, 비양도, 선흘곶자왈(동백동산)

 

 

  UNESCO Triple Crown Jeju 

 

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve(2002)

It includes Mt. Hallasan National park, natural monuments such as Yeongcheon Stream and Hyodoncheon Stream, and Munseom Islet, Beomseom Islet, and Seopseom Islet.

 

UNESCO Natural Heritage Site(2007)

It includes Mt. Hallasan Nature Reserve, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Geomun Oreum Lava Tube System(Geomun Oreum, Bangdwigul Cave, Manjanggul Cave, Kimnyeonggul Cave, Dangcheomul Cave, Yongcheon Cave, etc).

 

UNESCO Global Geopark Network(2010)

It covers the entire region of Jeju, including Mt. Halla, Manjanggul Cave, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Seogwipo Formation, Cheonjiyeon Falls, Jusangjeoli Columnar Joints in Jungmun and Daepo, Sangbangsan Mountain, Yongmeori Tuff Ring, Suweolbong Peak, Udo Island, Biyangdo Island, Seonheul Gotzawal Forest(Dongbaek Dongsan).

'세계7대불가사의'로 알려진 '뉴세븐원더스(The New 7wonders)' 재단은 전 세계인의 투표를 통해 세계에서 가장 아름다운 자연경관 7곳을 세계7대자연경광으로 선정하였습니다. 2011년 11월, 제주도는 세계7대자연경관으로 선정되는 쾌거를 이루었습니다.

The New7Wonders Foundation Lnown for the "New7Wonders of the World," selected the most beautiful natural sceneries of the world through an international vote to select the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. in November, 2011, Jeju Island accomplished the great feat of being selected as one of New 7 Wonders of Nature.
